From the archives of Frank Faraone.

This is the driver's view of road. Looks like he is getting some instruction on where to go from a passenger. Note the convertible on the lower right. It is probably the lead car in the Parade.
Once on site the real fun (work) begins. The tractor trailer rigs are unpacked and the tent is set up. In this picture it looks like the Paraders have conscripted some local help with unrolling the canvas.
High atop the tent skeleton, Jack Osborn, inserts the "key" pin that holds the entire structure in place.

The skeleton of the massive tent begins to take shape. A spider's web of ropes are used to erect the framework and pull up the canvas covering. The tent contained a stage where presentations were made to the attending audiences.

This picture shows the canvas being pulled up in the center of the tent. Rather than drape the canvas over the framework, this was designed to be pulled up on the inside tight to the ribs.
