Al Scholten had a guy from Holland come out and put some lettering
on our Lowboy since we do not have a sponsor yet. If we do get a
sponsor, we can placard over the lettering. I had to see it to
believe it. He HAND PAINTED it with about a 1" wide brush. It
looks decal-perfect. It should be an eye-catcher on the road this
summer as it goes to shows.

This is a view of the back of the trailer with the Futurliner on it.
The Futurliner is hauled facing backwards on the trailer.
|
These pictures of the display trailer were taken in Del Carpenter's
storage barn. The display trailer features a number of components
that are used on the Futurliner.
|
The "ribbing" is for a canvas covering to hold off the
elements. While the trailer looks like a big dragster it actually
has a set of dual hubs and wheels that are used on the Futurliner.
|
The display trailer has a spare engine that will fit in the
Futurliner if needed. In this state is will power a rather large 110
volt generator.
|
This picture shows the engine and the operating panel.

This is a close up of the operating panel.

This picture shows the large generator, hooked to the engine,
mounted on the back of the trailer.
