This March, Futurliner work session was for the preparation of the AACA GRAND NATIONAL show in Florida as well as other shows scheduled for 2008. We start our show season in Florida with two shows, then to North Carolina.

The Futurliner is inspected from top to bottom by the volunteers for any flaws or imperfections. The AACA Grand National is a top-honor -- the best of the best show.

The trim and the letters get a good polishing.

The cab, service panels, windows, etc. are all checked and cleaned.

We've had some problems with some of our haulers not understanding the removable goose neck trailer. This has resulted in some damage so a session was held were the volunteers went through the procedure so they could pass it on to the drivers. Paul Prinzing took notes as Fred from Star Trucking described the process.

Labels carrying instructions and specifications were added to one of the control panels. This will help provide pertinent and critical information on how to operate the various controls properly.

A place just above the headlights was chosen to display the AACA badges.

All the work is not glamorous. Here, one of the volunteers slides around under the Futurliner, inspecting and cleaning things.
