Tom Kuhlman, along with a friend, has cut this frame from the Army
truck that he donated, loaded it on his trailer and today has now
transported it to our work site. We are going to make a display
trailer to show case the drive train of the Futurliner. Most folks
when they take their restored car or truck to a show open the hood
to folks to see. The Futurliner's engine and transmission are buried
in a deep dark cave between two huge frame rails. It simply cannot
be seen. We are taking our spare 6 cylinder inline OHV engine along
with its military Hydramatic transmission and the rear transmission
and mounting them on a trailer. The trailer axle will consist of the
spare dual front axle which will have the front section of a GMC
Korean war army truck frame.
Del along with Stan will be the crew that
creates this show piece.

After the full frame arrived today Del, Stan, Al B. and Tom headed
to Del's house to unload it with his tractor using the hydraulic
bucket.
