As the Michigan winter storm clouds gather the Futurliner is moved
from Don's pole barn to a storage facility where it will wait out
the winter.
For the most part, the Futurliner restoration is complete. Odds and
ends need to be completed as well as the interior display and the
mechanical display trailer. For the winter, the Futurliner will go
into storage.
Fred Hoffman, from Star Trucking, prepares his tractor to haul the
Futurliner to the storage facility.
The Futurliner is loaded to ride backwards on the trailer. It's an
impressive site going down the road.
Ryan DeVries, skilled at restoring antique fire trucks, fabricated a
bronze cut-out for the exhaust system. This cut-out will allow
exhaust gases to be diverted under the Futurliner so that the roof
will not be soiled from the rich-mixture soot when first fired up.

The Guild model car went from the above state to the picture on the
right. It will be be detailed to look like it did when it was first
created.
